ANGLETERRE, 4 oct. 2014 (AMP) — Deuxième victoire de la saison pour Carlisle United qui confirme sa grande forme. Vainqueurs contre Tranmere Rovers le 27 septembre dernier, les “Cumbrians” poursuivent sur leur lancée en s'imposant 3-0 samedi à l'extérieur face à Hartlepool, à l'occasion de la 11ème journée de la quatrième division anglaise.
Après 45 minutes de jeu, Carlisle United et Hartlepool United n'auront pas réussi à se départager. 0-0 à la pause, tout s'est décidé en seconde période avec les buts de Rigg (54e), Elliott (82e) et Beck (89e).
Avec 9 points, Carlisle United passe désormais de la 24ème à la 23ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le 22ème les Tranmere Rovers.
