ANGLETERRE, 11 oct. 2014 (AMP) — Après leur défaite 0-3 contre Carlisle United du 4 octobre dernier, les “Pools” renouent avec le succès en s'imposant 2-1 samedi à l'extérieur face à l'Exeter, à l'occasion de la 12ème journée de la quatrième division anglaise.
Après 45 minutes de jeu, Hartlepool United et Exeter City n'auront pas réussi à se départager. 0-0 à la pause, tout s'est décidé en seconde période avec les buts de Woods (49e) et Wyke (66e).
Avec 15 points au compteur, Exeter City passe désormais de la 14ème à la 17ème place du classement, à un point du 16ème Accrington Stanley.
