ANGLETERRE, 25 oct. 2014 (AMP) — Après leurs défaites 1-0 contre Plymouth Argyle et 3-4 contre le Burton Albion, les “Cumbrians” renouent avec le succès en s'imposant 2-1 samedi à domicile face à Oxford, lors de la 15ème journée de la quatrième division anglaise.
Oxford United avait pourtant bien entamé la rencontre en prenant l'avantage à la 45e minute grâce au but de Hylton. Menés 1-0 à la pause, les joueurs de Carlisle United sont cependant parvenus à inverser le cours du match en marquant à deux reprises en seconde période (Beck 73e et Asamoah 89e).
