ANGLETERRE, 25 oct. 2014 (AMP) — Quatrième succès d'affilé pour Shrewsbury Town qui fait à nouveau preuve d'un grand réalisme. Après les victoires contre Cheltenham, le York et Bury, les “Shrews” poursuivent sur leur lancée en s'imposant 2-1 samedi à domicile face à Portsmouth, lors de la 15ème journée de la quatrième division anglaise.
Wallace a ouvert le score sur pénalty à la 3e minute, avant de voir Shrewsbury Town égaliser à la 13e grâce à Wesolowski. 1-1 à la pause. Shrewsbury Town l'a finalement remporté en seconde période grâce au but de Goldson à la 72e minute.
Avec 27 points au compteur, Shrewsbury Town passe de la 5ème à la 4ème place du classement, à seulement un point du troisième le Burton Albion.
