D4 anglaise (14e journée) : Oxford l'emporte sur Northampton Town grâce à un doublé de Hylton
ANGLETERRE, 21 oct. 2014 (AMP) — Quatrième victoire de la saison pour Oxford United qui confirme sa grande forme. Vainqueurs contre Tranmere Rovers le 18 octobre dernier, les “Gars de la Colline” poursuivent sur leur lancée en s'imposant 3-1 mardi à l'extérieur face à Northampton, dans le cadre de la 14ème journée de la quatrième division anglaise.
Doublé de Hylton
Northampton Town avait ouvert le score à la 4e minute grâce à Stevens, avant qu'Oxford United ne reprenne l'avantage avec Hylton (25e, 27e sur pénalty). Menant 2-1 à la pause, les joueurs d'Oxford United ont encore accru leur avantage en seconde période avec un but de Potter à la 50e minute.
Avec 18 points, Northampton Town passe désormais de la 12ème à la 16ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le 15ème Cambridge United.
