ANGLETERRE, 25 nov. 2017 (AMP) — Deuxième succès d'affilé pour Wigan Athletic qui fait à nouveau preuve d'un grand réalisme. Vainqueurs contre Doncaster Rovers le 21 novembre dernier, les Latics poursuivent sur leur lancée en s'imposant 3-1 samedi à l'extérieur face à Rotherham, dans le cadre de la 20ème journée de la troisième division anglaise.
Wigan Athletic a dominé la première période grâce aux buts de Grigg Will (14e) et Bruce Alex (28e). Menant 2-1 à la pause, les joueurs de Wigan Athletic ont encore accru leur avantage en seconde période avec un but de Jacobs Michael à la 60e minute.
Avec 42 points au compteur, Wigan Athletic prend la tête du classement, 2 points devant le second Shrewsbury Town.
