ANGLETERRE, 9 sep. 2017 (AMP) — Cinquième victoire de la saison pour Shrewsbury Town qui confirme sa grande forme. Vainqueurs contre Gillingham le 2 septembre dernier, les “Shrews” poursuivent sur leur lancée en s'imposant 1-0 samedi à domicile face à Wigan Athletic, à l'occasion de la 6ème journée de la troisième division anglaise.
Tout s'est joué en première période avec le but de Payne Stefan à la 26e minute.
Avec 16 points, Shrewsbury Town prend la tête du classement, seulement un point devant le second Charlton Athletic.
