ANGLETERRE, 22 nov. 2016 (AMP) — Deuxième succès d'affilé pour Fleetwood Town qui fait à nouveau preuve d'un grand réalisme. Vainqueur contre Chesterfield le 19 novembre dernier, la “Cod Army” poursuit sur sa lancée en s'imposant 3-0 mardi à domicile face à Shrewsbury, dans le cadre de la 19ème journée de la troisième division anglaise.
Doublé de Ball David
Fleetwood Town a dominé la première période grâce au but de Mclaughlin Conor à la 38e minute. Menant 1-0 à la pause, les joueurs de Fleetwood Town ont encore accru leur avantage en seconde période en marquant à deux reprises (Ball David 53e, 73e).
Avec 28 points au compteur, Fleetwood Town passe de la 10ème à la 8ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le septième l'AFC Wimbledon.
