ANGLETERRE, 12 nov. 2016 (AMP) — Après le match nul contre Southend United le 29 octobre dernier, les “Shrews” renouent avec le succès en s'imposant 2-0 samedi à domicile face à Oxford, dans le cadre de la 17ème journée de la troisième division anglaise.
Shrewsbury Town a dominé la première période grâce au but de Leitch-smith Aj à la 19e minute. Menant 1-0 à la pause, les joueurs de Shrewsbury Town ont encore accru leur avantage en seconde période avec un but de Whalley Shaun dans les arrêts de jeux.
Avec 19 points au compteur, Oxford United passe de la 17ème à la 20ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le 19ème Swindon Town.
