D4 anglaise (9e journée) : Mansfield l'emporte sur Carlisle United grâce à un doublé de Bingham
ANGLETERRE, 20 sep. 2014 (AMP) — Cinquième victoire de la saison pour Mansfield Town qui confirme sa grande forme. Vainqueurs contre Morecambe le 16 septembre dernier, les “Stags” poursuivent sur leur lancée en s'imposant 3-2 samedi à domicile face à Carlisle, dans le cadre de la 9ème journée de la quatrième division anglaise.
Doublé de Bingham
Mansfield Town a dominé la première période grâce aux buts de Beevers (4e) et Bingham (37e, 41e). Menés 3-0 à la pause, les deux buts (Amoo 61e et Dempsey 71e) ne permettront pas aux joueurs de Carlisle United de revenir au score.
Avec 15 points, Mansfield Town passe désormais de la 10ème à la 8ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le septième Cheltenham.
