ANGLETERRE, 19 aoû. 2014 (AMP) — Après 2 victoires d'affilées contre Accrington Stanley et Stevenage, les “Shrimpers” se sont inclinés 0-1 contre l'AFC Wimbledon mardi soir , à l'occasion de la 3ème journée de la quatrième division anglaise.
Après 45 minutes de jeu, l'AFC Wimbledon et Southend United n'auront pas réussi à se départager. 0-0 à la pause, tout s'est décidé en seconde période avec le but délivreur de Francomb à la 60e minute.
Avec 7 points, l'AFC Wimbledon passe désormais de la 7ème à la 5ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le quatrième Portsmouth.
