ANGLETERRE, 19 aoû. 2014 (AMP) — Deuxième victoire de la saison pour Portsmouth qui confirme sa grande forme. Vainqueur contre Cambridge United le 16 août dernier, “Pompey” poursuit sur sa lancée en s'imposant 2-0 mardi à domicile face à Northampton, dans le cadre de la 3ème journée de la quatrième division anglaise.
Tout s'est joué en première période avec les buts de Wallace (26e) et Westcarr (39e).
Avec 7 points, Portsmouth passe désormais de la 7ème à la 4ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le troisième Shrewsbury Town.
