Tout s'est joué en première période avec le but de Tubbs à la 42e minute.
Avec 4 points, l'AFC Wimbledon passe désormais de la 10ème à la 7ème place du classement, ex-æquo avec Portsmouth, et à égalité de point avec le sixième Shrewsbury Town.
