ANGLETERRE, 21 oct. 2017 (AMP) — Après le match nul contre Peterborough United le 17 octobre dernier, les “Shrimpers” renouent avec le succès en s'imposant 1-0 samedi à domicile face à Bury, à l'occasion de la 15ème journée de la troisième division anglaise.
Après 45 minutes de jeu, Southend United et Bury n'auront pas réussi à se départager. 0-0 à la pause, tout s'est décidé en seconde période avec le but délivreur de Leonard Ryan à 6 minutes de la fin du match.
Avec 20 points, Southend United passe désormais de la 15ème à la 13ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le 12ème Portsmouth.
