D3 anglaise (9e journée) : Southend s'impose face à Fleetwood Town 4 à 2
ANGLETERRE, 23 sep. 2017 (AMP) — Après le match nul contre Northampton Town le 16 septembre dernier, les “Shrimpers” renouent avec le succès en s'imposant 4-2 samedi à l'extérieur face à Fleetwood, à l'occasion de la 9ème journée de la troisième division anglaise.
Southend United a dominé la première période grâce aux buts de Cox Simon (2e), Mclaughlin Stephen (40e) et Ranger Nile (45e sur pénalty). Menant 3-1 à la pause, les joueurs de Southend United ont encore accru leur avantage en seconde période avec un but de Mcglashan Jermaine à 3 minutes de la fin.
Avec 13 points, Fleetwood Town passe désormais de la 8ème à la 10ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le neuvième les Blackburn Rovers.
