ANGLETERRE, 15 oct. 2016 (AMP) — Après leur défaite 3-0 contre Rochdale du 8 octobre dernier, les “Shrimpers” renouent avec le succès en s'imposant 1-0 samedi à domicile face à Chesterfield, à l'occasion de la 13ème journée de la troisième division anglaise.
Tout s'est joué en première période avec le but de Thompson Adam à la 29e minute.
Avec 15 points, Southend United passe désormais de la 22ème à la 19ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le 18ème Gillingham.
