ANGLETERRE, 17 sep. 2016 (AMP) — Deuxième succès d'affilé pour Scunthorpe United qui fait à nouveau preuve d'un grand réalisme. Vainqueur contre Southend United le 10 septembre dernier, “The Iron” poursuit sur sa lancée en s'imposant 1-0 samedi à l'extérieur face à Shrewsbury, à l'occasion de la 8ème journée de la troisième division anglaise.
Tout s'est joué en première période avec le but de Mirfin David à la 45e minute.
Avec 16 points au compteur, Scunthorpe United prend la tête du classement, seulement un point devant le second les Bolton Wanderers avec de surcroît un match d'avance.
