ANGLETERRE, 27 aoû. 2016 (AMP) — Après le match nul du 20 août contre Reading, les Mouettes se sont inclinées 2-0 contre Newcastle samedi après-midi sur la pelouse de St James' Park, à l'occasion de la 5ème journée de la deuxième division anglaise.
Newcastle a dominé la première période grâce au but de son défenseur Jamaal Lascelles à la 15e minute. Menant 1-0 à la pause, les joueurs de Newcastle ont encore accru leur avantage en seconde période avec un but de Shelvey à la 63e minute.
Avec 9 points au compteur, Newcastle passe désormais de la 7ème à la 4ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le troisième Barnsley.
