ANGLETERRE, 14 mar. 2015 (AMP) — Après une série de deux matchs nuls, contre l'AFC Wimbledon puis les Wycombe Wanderers, les “Shrimpers” renouent avec le succès en s'imposant 3-1 samedi à l'extérieur face à Dagenham, à l'occasion de la 36ème journée de la quatrième division anglaise.
Southend United a dominé la première période grâce aux buts de Pigott (16e) et Leonard (45e). Menant 2-1 à la pause, les joueurs de Southend United ont encore accru leur avantage en seconde période avec un but de Corr sur pénalty à la 52e minute.
