ANGLETERRE, 14 mar. 2015 (AMP) — Deuxième succès d'affilé pour le Burton Albion qui fait à nouveau preuve d'un grand réalisme. Vainqueurs contre Hartlepool United le 7 mars dernier, les “Brewers” poursuivent sur leur lancée en s'imposant 3-0 samedi à domicile face à Accrington, à l'occasion de la 36ème journée de la quatrième division anglaise.
Le Burton Albion a dominé la première période grâce au but de Mccrory sur pénalty à la 27e minute. Menant 1-0 à la pause, les joueurs du Burton Albion ont encore accru leur avantage en seconde période en marquant à deux reprises (Beavon 74e et Palmer 85e).
Avec 70 points au compteur, le Burton Albion garde la tête du classement, 3 points devant le second les Wycombe Wanderers.
