ANGLETERRE, 16 sep. 2014 (AMP) — Cinquième victoire de la saison pour Bury qui confirme sa grande forme. Vainqueurs contre Carlisle United le 13 septembre dernier, les “Shakers” poursuivent sur leur lancée en s'imposant 2-1 mardi à domicile face à Stevenage, lors de la 8ème journée de la quatrième division anglaise.
Marriott a ouvert le score à la 10e minute, avant de voir Bury égaliser à la 13e grâce à Lowe. 1-1 à la pause. Bury l'a finalement remporté en seconde période grâce au but de Jones à la 47e minute.
Avec 17 points, Bury passe désormais de la 3ème à la 2ème place du classement, à 2 points du premier le Burton Albion.
