ANGLETERRE, 12 aoû. 2017 (AMP) — Deuxième victoire de la saison pour Shrewsbury Town qui confirme sa grande forme. Vainqueurs contre Northampton Town le 5 août dernier, les “Shrews” poursuivent sur leur lancée en s'imposant 1-0 samedi à l'extérieur face à Wimbledon, à l'occasion de la 2ème journée de la troisième division anglaise.
Tout s'est joué en première période avec le but de Rodman Alex dès la 8e minute.
Avec 6 points, Shrewsbury Town passe de la 7ème à la 5ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le quatrième Bradford City.
