ANGLETERRE, 14 mar. 2017 (AMP) — 22ème victoire de la saison pour Sheffield United qui confirme sa grande forme. Vainqueurs contre Oxford United le 7 mars dernier, les “Blades” poursuivent sur leur lancée en s'imposant 4-2 mardi à l'extérieur face à Swindon, lors de la 38ème journée de la troisième division anglaise.
Sheffield United a dominé la première période grâce aux buts de Lavery Caolan (29e) et Freeman Kieron (35e). Menant 2-0 à la pause, les joueurs de Sheffield United ont encore accru leur avantage en seconde période en marquant à deux reprises (O Shea Jay 58e et Coutts Paul 90e/pénalty).
Avec 75 points, Sheffield United garde la tête du classement, 8 points devant le second Fleetwood Town.
