ANGLETERRE, 22 oct. 2016 (AMP) — Après leurs défaites 1-3 contre Millwall et 3-0 contre Peterborough United, les “Cobblers” renouent avec le succès en s'imposant 4-2 samedi à l'extérieur face à Shrewsbury, dans le cadre de la 15ème journée de la troisième division anglaise.
Doublé d'Anderson Paul
Northampton Town a dominé la première période grâce aux buts de Zakuani Gabriel (22e) et Anderson Paul (31e). Menant 2-1 à la pause, les joueurs de Northampton Town ont encore accru leur avantage en seconde période en marquant à deux reprises (Hoskins Sam 65e et Anderson Paul 89e).
Avec 21 points, Northampton Town passe de la 12ème à la 8ème place du classement, à seulement un point du septième Port Vale.
