D3 anglaise (13e journée) : Southend l'emporte sur Barnsley 2-1
ANGLETERRE, 17 oct. 2015 (AMP) — Deuxième succès d'affilé pour Southend United qui fait à nouveau preuve d'un grand réalisme. Vainqueurs contre Port Vale le 10 octobre dernier, les “Shrimpers” poursuivent sur leur lancée en s'imposant 2-1 samedi à domicile face à Barnsley, dans le cadre de la 13ème journée de la troisième division anglaise.
Tout s'est joué en première période avec les buts de Wordsworth Anthony (36e) et Prosser Luke (43e).
Avec 21 points au compteur, Southend United se maintient à la 7ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le sixième Sheffield United.
