ANGLETERRE, 16 aoû. 2014 (AMP) — Après leur défaite 4-2 contre les Milton Keynes Dons du 9 août dernier, les “Gills” renouent avec le succès en s'imposant 2-0 samedi à domicile face à Yeovil, dans le cadre de la 2ème journée de la troisième division anglaise.
Gillingham a dominé la première période grâce au but de Martin à la 35e minute. Menant 1-0 à la pause, les joueurs de Gillingham ont encore accru leur avantage en seconde période avec un but de Kedwell à la 55e minute.
Avec 3 points au compteur, Gillingham passe désormais de la 22ème à la 13ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le 12ème Swindon Town.
