D2 anglaise : Reading bat le Burton Albion et termine la saison à la 3ème place
ANGLETERRE, 7 mai. 2017 (AMP) — 26ème victoire de la saison pour Reading qui confirme sa grande forme. Vainqueurs contre Wigan Athletic le 29 avril dernier, les Royals poursuivent sur leur lancée en s'imposant 4-2 dimanche à l'extérieur face à Burton, dans le cadre de la 46ème et dernière journée de la deuxième division anglaise.
Reading a dominé la première période grâce aux buts de Mendes (3e) et Obita (21e). Menant 2-0 à la pause, les joueurs de Reading ont encore accru leur avantage en seconde période en marquant à deux reprises (Kermorgant 64e et Grabban 84e).
Avec 85 points, Reading termine 3ème au classement général. le Burton Albion se classe 20ème.
