ANGLETERRE, 10 fév. 2017 (AMP) — Deuxième succès d'affilé pour Sheffield Wednesday qui fait à nouveau preuve d'un grand réalisme. Vainqueurs contre Wigan Athletic le 3 février dernier, les Owls poursuivent sur leur lancée en s'imposant 3-0 vendredi au stade de Hillsborough face à Birmingham City, lors de la 31ème journée de la deuxième division anglaise.
Sheffield Wednesday a dominé la première période grâce au but de son attaquant Rhodes Jordan dès la 9e minute. Menant 1-0 à la pause, les joueurs de Sheffield Wednesday ont encore accru leur avantage en seconde période en marquant à deux reprises (Winnall Sam 80e et Reach 86e).
