ANGLETERRE, 13 aoû. 2016 (AMP) — Après le match nul contre Cardiff le 6 août dernier, les Blues renouent avec le succès en s'imposant 2-1 samedi à l'extérieur face à Leeds United, lors de la 2ème journée de la deuxième division anglaise.
Le milieu birminghamois Jacques Maghoma a ouvert le score à la 15e minute, avant de voir Leeds United égaliser à la 27e grâce à Hadi Sacko. 1-1 à la pause. Les Birminghamois l'ont finalement remporté en seconde période grâce au but de Morrison à la 55e minute.
Avec 4 points au compteur, Birmingham City passe de la 12ème à la 6ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le cinquième les Wolverhampton Wanderers.
