ANGLETERRE, 16 jan. 2016 (AMP) — Après le match nul contre Exeter City le 12 janvier dernier, les “Crevettes” renouent avec le succès en s'imposant 2-1 samedi à domicile face à Yeovil, à l'occasion de la 27ème journée de la quatrième division anglaise.
Après 45 minutes de jeu, Morecambe et Yeovil Town n'auront pas réussi à se départager. 0-0 à la pause, tout s'est décidé en seconde période avec les buts d'Ellison Kevin (74e) et Miller Shaun (80e).
Avec 35 points, Morecambe passe de la 14ème à la 13ème place du classement, à 2 points du 12ème Cambridge United avec de surcroît deux matchs d'avance.
