ANGLETERRE, 12 avr. 2016 (AMP) — Après leurs défaites 2-0 contre Sheffield United et 1-0 contre l'Oldham Athletic, les “Saddlers” renouent avec le succès en s'imposant 2-1 mardi à l'extérieur face à Gillingham, dans le cadre de la 38ème journée de la troisième division anglaise.

Les deux équipes se sont neutralisées au cours des 45 premières minutes de jeu. 0-0 à la pause, tout s'est accéléré en seconde période avec les buts de Lalkovic Milan (68e) et Hiwula Jordy (77e).

Avec 71 points, Walsall se maintient à la 3ème place du classement, à 5 points du second le Burton Albion avec de surcroît un match d'avance.
