ANGLETERRE, 9 avr. 2016 (AMP) — 14ème victoire de la saison pour Chesterfield qui confirme sa grande forme. Vainqueurs contre Port Vale le 2 avril dernier, les “Spireites” poursuivent sur leur lancée en s'imposant 2-1 samedi à l'extérieur face à Barnsley, à l'occasion de la 41ème journée de la troisième division anglaise.
Après 45 minutes de jeu, Chesterfield et Barnsley n'auront pas réussi à se départager. 0-0 à la pause, tout s'est décidé en seconde période avec les buts de Novak Lee (57e) et Banks Ollie (81e).
Avec 62 points, Barnsley se maintient à la 7ème place du classement, à 6 points du sixième Walsall à qui il reste cependant un match à jouer.
