ANGLETERRE, 6 fév. 2016 (AMP) — Troisième succès d'affilé pour Southend United qui fait à nouveau preuve d'un grand réalisme. Après les victoires contre le Coventry et Shrewsbury, les “Shrimpers” poursuivent sur leur lancée en s'imposant 3-0 samedi à domicile face à Colchester, à l'occasion de la 30ème journée de la troisième division anglaise.
Après 45 minutes de jeu, Southend United et Colchester United n'auront pas réussi à se départager. 0-0 à la pause, tout s'est décidé en seconde période avec les buts de Wordsworth Anthony (82e), Barrett Adam (88e) et Mcqueen Sam (90e).
Avec 47 points au compteur, Southend United se maintient à la 7ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le sixième Millwall.
