ANGLETERRE, 3 oct. 2015 (AMP) — Après une série de trois défaites consécutives (contre Rochdale, Southend United puis Walsall), “The Iron” renoue avec le succès en s'imposant 1-0 samedi à domicile face à Fleetwood, dans le cadre de la 11ème journée de la troisième division anglaise.
Les deux équipes se sont neutralisées au cours des 45 premières minutes de jeu. 0-0 à la pause, tout s'est accéléré en seconde période avec le but délivreur de Madden Paddy à la 68e minute.
Avec 11 points au compteur, Scunthorpe United passe désormais de la 21ème à la 20ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le 19ème Shrewsbury Town.
