D3 anglaise (3e journée) : Sheffield United bat Peterborough United grâce à un doublé de Sammon Conor
ANGLETERRE, 18 aoû. 2015 (AMP) — Deuxième victoire de la saison pour Sheffield United qui confirme sa grande forme. Vainqueurs contre Chesterfield le 15 août dernier, les “Blades” poursuivent sur leur lancée en s'imposant 3-1 mardi à l'extérieur face à Peterborough, lors de la 3ème journée de la troisième division anglaise.
Doublé de Sammon Conor
Sheffield United a dominé la première période grâce au but de Sammon Conor à la 15e minute. Menant 1-0 à la pause, les joueurs de Sheffield United ont encore accru leur avantage en seconde période en marquant à deux reprises (Sammon Conor 72e et Baxter Jose 85e).
Avec 6 points, Sheffield United passe de la 12ème à la 3ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le second Rochdale à qui il reste cependant un match à jouer.
