ANGLETERRE, 9 sep. 2017 (AMP) — Après le match nul contre le Burton Albion le 26 août dernier, les Owls renouent avec le succès en s'imposant 3-1 samedi au stade de Hillsborough face à Nottingham Forest, à l'occasion de la 6ème journée de la deuxième division anglaise.
L'attaquant de Sheffield Wednesday Gary Hooper a ouvert le score à la 23e minute, avant de voir Nottingham Forest égaliser à la 29e grâce à Ben Osborn. 1-1 à la pause. Sheffield Wednesday l'a finalement remporté en seconde période grâce aux buts de Fletcher (63e) et Lee (70e).
Avec 9 points, Sheffield Wednesday passe désormais de la 16ème à la 10ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le neuvième Bristol City.
