ANGLETERRE, 1er oct. 2016 (AMP) — Après le match nul contre Birmingham City le 27 septembre dernier, les Lilywhites renouent avec le succès en s'imposant 2-0 samedi à domicile face à Aston Villa, dans le cadre de la 11ème journée de la deuxième division anglaise.
Tout s'est joué en première période avec les buts de Pearson Ben (5e) et Hugill Jordan (39e).
Avec 13 points au compteur, Preston passe de la 19ème à la 17ème place du classement, à égalité de point avec le 16ème Ipswich Town.
